This photograph from the collections of the Library of Congress shows Captain Jacob Haas of Company G, 96th Pennsylvania during the Civil War.
The photograph was taken by Schuylkill County photographer A.M. Allen at his studio at the corner of Centre and Market streets in Pottsville.
