A powerful tribute to those lost in World War 2 | Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania

On May 8, 1945, as the world marked Victory in Europe Day (V-E Day), the Record American newspaper of Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, published a poignant tribute to the town’s fallen soldiers. These two pages, part of a special V-E Day edition, honored the local men who gave their lives during World War II, ensuring their sacrifice was never forgotten.
