Trove of panoramic maps of Pennsylvania online via the State Archives

Earlier this month, we published a brief blog post about a panoramic map of Pottsville, Pennsylvania created in 1889. On that post, we received a comment from Ty Stump pointing out that there is huge number of these “Fowler” maps available online thanks to the Pennsylvania State Archives. Ty is an archivist at the state archives.

Check out the full list of maps available at the archive’s website by CLICKING HERE – it includes many Coal Region towns and other communities from across the Keystone State!

Thanks for pointing out this amazing resource, Ty! (He’s also a great follow on Twitter – @ArchivistTy)
